Responsibilities

Admissions Associates play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience to guests.

This role typically:

• Answers questions providing information and sells:
  • Tickets
  • Tours
  • Memberships
• Process payments and ticket distribution
• Provides exceptional customer service to diverse guest populations

As needed this role:

• Assist with events or other duties as assigned

This role must present a professional image in line with internal dress code

Qualifications

Skills

• Ability to:
  • Learn/use web-based computer ticketing system (Tessitura)
  • Communicate effectively (verbally and written) in-person, via telephone, and email
  • Work independently and with a team
  • Handle cash and payments

Physical

• Stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in environments where temperature may fluctuate

Education

• HS diploma or GED

Helpful

While helpful, these skills are not required to be considered for this role:

• Previous Tessitura experience
• Verbal fluency in additional language(s) besides English
• Ability to remain calm during peak times and higher customer volume

Considerations

Rate of Pay: $15 per hour + eligible for $5.00 per hour pay additive for working events.

Working Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week with arrival time of 8:45 AM. Please note that weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required based on the needs of the Ringling.

• This position is based in Sarasota, FL.
• This is an OPS (Other Personal Services) position.
• This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
