We are looking for an entrepreneurial, customer-focused Senior Product Manager of Talent. This individual will drive strategies to help Tallo become the premier marketplace for early talent to find and explore new careers, training, certification and employment opportunities. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and a cross-functional team of software engineers, designers, researchers, and business development personnel.

This person will build new products from zero-to-one as well as manage current features and services throughout their life cycle. To be successful, this individual will need a combination of business savvy, product management, and technical acumen. This person will also thrive in a fast-paced development environments and leverage their experience in building digital content and commerce experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap to help early career talent discover their interests, develop a plan and take steps toward developing compelling career paths.
  • Win alignment and support from cross-functional team members and senior leadership for your vision and roadmap.
  • Draft and drive requirements and design for new features.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, and product design to build, release, and take new features and products to market.
  • Define objectives, metrics, and desired outcomes to guide, prioritize, and measure the success of product investments.
  • Support competitive analysis and participate in make vs. buy decisions for 3rd party software integrations, commerce, and content partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of monetization plans, strategies, and financial projections.
  • Clearly communicate product benefits to users and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion customer and user needs and product value propositions to stakeholders.
Basic qualifications
  • Ten years of experience as a product manager building consumer applications and or enterprise platforms
  • Experience in a technical or business product management role within a consumer, technology, or consulting company.
Preferred qualifications
  • Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience working with a set of highly skilled engineers, researchers, designers, and data scientists.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical subjects for technical, non-technical, partner and executive audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and ability to execute complex product launches.
  • Curiosity and a strong understanding of trends in consumer web and mobile application usage.
  • Experience with social media.
  • Passion for building data-driven products and experiences that leverage ML to increase user satisfaction and business impact.
  • Experience developing objectives for actionable consumer, market and user research initiatives.
  • Experience developing and monitoring KPIs and building products with monthly active user engagement and growth goals.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
  • We anticipate the salary range to be $90,000.00- $205,572.00. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
