Position Summary

Our 2025 Summer Analyst Program is a ten-week internship in our Global Investor Relations business. Carlyle's Investor Relations group offers Summer Analysts the chance to engage in our IR processes and add value in both the Sales and Product functions across Carlyle's three business segments. Additionally, Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to interact with professionals firmwide with weekly lunch and learns, senior leader mentorship, and other developmental opportunities.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Summer Analyst will be to collaborate with IR teams globally to successfully fundraise Carlyle funds and serve the needs of our institutional limited partners. Summer Analysts will support IR professionals in tasks such as preparing fund communications and marketing materials, creating pitch decks, and updating our CRM system. Specific sample projects and responsibilities include:

  • Senior executive support
    • Ad hoc projects / postings
  • Fund-specific projects
    • Roadshow Meeting Briefs
    • Investment Consultant support builds
    • Competitor / fund research
  • Conferences & Events
    • Global Investor Conference LP coordination, logistics, etc.
    • Conference circuit LP target lists, Carlyle attendee postings, etc.

  • CRM (DealCloud)
    • Pipeline development and review
    • Data room access requests

  • Support for LP research and prospecting
  • Client specific decks and marketing materials
  • Market and LP postings to Client Relationship Management team
  • LP Meeting coordination and tracking

Qualifications

Education & Certificates

  • To be eligible for the 2025 Carlyle Summer Analyst Program, students must be enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate university with the intended graduation date of Fall 2025 - Spring 2026.

Professional Experience

  • Prior internship(s) in financial services recommended
