SUMMARY: This position is responsible for Breeder grow-out accounting as well as backup for Broiler grow-out accounting. This is a multi-task environment where attention to detail and meeting established deadlines are essential. Cross training will be done in areas assigned by the Controller to include daily live receiving & MTech system. Successful candidate will need to be able to work within a team environment. All other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: This position is responsible for Breeder grow-out accounting, utilizing the protein application MTech, SAP Financial software and Excel worksheets. This position will also be the backup to our Broiler grow-out accounting administrator. The successful candidate must be able to learn multiple aspects of live accounting, work in a fast-paced environment, be able to prioritize multiple tasks as well as meet daily & weekly deadlines. This individual will also be responsible for other duties as assigned by the Controller.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3 or more years in an accounting related field.

Computer Skills: Intermediate skills required, which should include the full suite of Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP or a computer based financial, materials management, costing system a plus.
