Job Description:

We are seeking a detailed Accounting Clerk with a primary focus on the accounts payable process. This position requires the execution of accounting and financial work in accordance with company rules, US generally accepted accounting principles, tax, and other laws and regulations. With respect to the Company and two investment companies, you will be working on accounting and financial work together with the accounting team. Your work will include creation of corporate guidelines and manuals under the supervision of the treasurer or accounting manager, maintenance of accounting systems, work improvement proposals and projects.

Job Tasks

• Daily Financial Accounting Duties
  • Primary focus is to manage accounts payable process, including vendor invoice processing, invoice approvals, and ERP invoice payment integration system
  • Provide support for accounts receivable entries as needed
  • Provide support for general ledger adjustments as needed
• Tax Accounting
  • Preparing information required for corporate income tax filings
  • Preparing information required for corporate sales and use tax filings
  • Preparing information required for corporate transfer pricing studies
• Other Duties
  • Lead efforts to implement automated payables processing platform
  • Provide support for travel and expense transaction processing
  • Support annual audit process for data requests and analysis

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Minimum Associate's degree. Major in Accounting is preferred
• Language: English (Business level) necessary
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Accounting Payable and/or related experience
• Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS
• Strong work ethic, high level of focus on details
• Ability to process high volume of accounting transactions
• Strong computer skills
• Self-starter
• Excellent integrity and communication skills
