Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting department and ensure the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management. This role is critical in supporting the company's manufacturing operations through accurate financial analysis and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to management.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts to assist in strategic decision-making.

Cost Accounting: Analyze production costs, monitor variances, and develop cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.

Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and supply chain, to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
