Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the finance team with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and provide reports as needed.
- Support vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Hourly Salary: $22-25
