Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Hybrid (3 days onsite after two weeks of training)
Duration: Temporary through March 2025, with potential for temp-to-hire
Pay Range: $28-$33 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)
Experience: 2-5 years preferred
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, and processing for payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end close processes by preparing AP-related reports and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Maintain and update records in accounting systems and support audit requirements as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Software Knowledge: Experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.

Excel Proficiency: Intermediate-level skills, including the ability to use filters, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and AP processes.
