Lamp Rynearson is a leading civil engineering, survey, planning, landscape architecture, and consulting firm. We seek a detail-oriented individual with enthusiasm, and a drive for excellence to support our multi-department office, and should diverse projects as an Administrative Assistant.
This opportunity is for an energetic and detail-oriented individual with an understanding and desire to provide administrative services within a multi-department office. The position requires performing administrative tasks to support the varied needs of our multiple departments. This includes opportunities to collaborate with clients, and coworkers as we share in the success of community changing projects.
Specific competencies for the position are as follows:
• 2+ years of experience preferably in a similar role• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam a plus• Coordinate with Project Administrators and assist with project specific duties as assigned• Provide typing support for documents which may include advertising, spec books, contract documents, letters, proposals, statements of qualifications, change orders, estimates, prime and subconsultant agreements, engineering reports, and miscellaneous correspondence• Process submittal packages, coordinate project closeout information, and assist in research• File documents and correspondence, and maintain current and archived project files• Serve as backup to Office Services Coordinator including answering and routing incoming calls, receiving and directing clients, and processing incoming/outgoing mail and express deliveries• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team• Ability to work with different personalities and professional styles• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong proofreading skills• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines• Self-starter with strong time management skills
