Position Summary:The Middle School Content Lead & Mentor serves as on-site content support for passion project activities by supporting Mentors in their work with young people to develop youth interests and social-emotional skills (self-regulation, and positive self-identity). They will work with W&M School of Education faculty to develop curriculum, train mentors in the curriculum, and engage in prosocial activities during out-of-school time hours.

Required Qualifications:- Citizenship or permanent residency status (Green Card)
- High school graduate or GED certification
- 17 years of age or older
- Pass the Criminal History Check
- Experience or interest in working with young people
- Bachelor's degree or one year of work experience in the education or youth development field
- Driver's License

Advertised Pay Range:Living allowance of $4,050
Advertised Pay Range Statement:This position receives compensation in the form of a living allowance instead of an established starting rate. At the successful completion of the term, the AmeriCorps member will be eligible for an education award of $1,565.08.
