Job Description

Analytical Chemist, Large Molecule responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supports protein/antibody products by applying a variety of GMP analytical methodologies.
  • Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports.
  • Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings.
  • Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:
  • Experience with size exclusion chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, capillary isoelectric focusing methods. Knowledge on Empower is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and instrument trouble-shooting skill
  • Strong understanding of GMP regulations.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
