The Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Clinical Technician I. This position under general supervision will perform specialized tasks and procedures in support of our Anesthesia providers before, during, and following patient procedures in various Operating rooms (MOR, SFCH, ASC OB-GYN, and satellite areas) across UIHC. Clinical Technicians will initiate clinical, technical, janitorial, and logistic support in all anesthetizing locations including our operating rooms and satellite locations. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Duties to include:
- Provide care, maintenance, troubleshooting, and instruction in the proper usage of anesthesia equipment and supplies in all anesthetizing locations.
- Prepare all anesthetizing locations.
- Perform daily assignments in patient care activities.
- Continuous demonstration of team-oriented values.
- Track inventory control, including stocking the anesthesia workroom, pharmacy dispensed medications, and tracking expiration dates of stocked medications.
