Contract Position

$34.00 - $37.31/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and modify RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid to high complexity.
• Install connectors, substrates, components, and modules in complex microwave assemblies using paste and sheet epoxies.
• Perform disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair on pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and systems with integrated circuit technology.
• Isolate problem areas from test failure sheets and rework the rejected units accordingly.
• Plan and prioritize work sequences to meet schedule requirements.
• Use measurement equipment (e.g., reticle, drop indicator) to verify that units meet specifications.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least a DoD Interim Secret Clearance; Secret Clearance preferred.
• Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
• Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools like torque drivers, tweezers, and similar tools.
• Ability to read detailed process sheets and technical drawings.
• Good computer skills for retrieving drawings, work instructions, and supporting job activities.
• Ability to work second shift (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
• Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in ESD and FOD-controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes for small electronic devices.
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
