Position Summary:The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) welcomes applications for multiple Assistant Professor of Teaching positions in Computer Science and Engineering. These positions are expected to teach all core computer science and engineering courses and should be able to teach courses in one or more areas, including cloud/edge computing, software engineering, and cybersecurity.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at FAU consists of 50 faculty and 5 staff members and has a student body of over 1,400 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students. EECS offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The department also currently offers MS degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Bioengineering, and Information Technology and Management. The department's current active funding portfolio is over $15.0M, with support from federal funding agencies such as NSF, NIH, DoD, DoE, and DARPA, as well as Industry.
