EH&S seeks a Business Architect to drive a systematic framework for aligning our organization's business strategy, processes, information, and technology.If you are seeking a very challenging career, this position may be just for you!
In this position you will:
- Define and implement an organizational level business architecture of major business operations that includes standards and policies related to maintaining critical support services, data governance, process change, strategic capabilities and programmatic updates.
- Collaborate with senior management, policy leaders, architects, analysts and IT leadership to provide business process analysis, share best practices and recommend business solutions.
- Lead a team of business and/or system analysts, functional managers and end users to develop and apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology.
- Review proposed or current projects for adherence to architecture standards. Contribute to requirements and design as an independent advisor.
- Lead projects focused on delivering significant improvement to the University's operational capabilities by strengthening the integration and alignment of people, process and system capabilities.
- Oversee design and related documentation supporting the development of central systems that align the University's business and technology strategies.
- Apply operational experience to build a reusable solution framework, leveraging the work of successful projects for new solutions.
- Collaborate with change management, communications and training teams to ensure business readiness for change and the adoption of new ways of working needed to realize the value of transformation programs and technology investments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and ten years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, accounting, operations, finance, statistics or engineering.

- Subject matter expertise for area(s) of responsibility.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation and political acumen skills. Able to influence people, solve problems, troubleshoot, think creatively and resolve conflicts.
- Proven presentation experience and comfort with senior management audiences
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, trends and/or regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in business and management computer applications and databases
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Sitting in place at computer for long periods of time with extensive keyboarding/dexterity; occasionally use a telephone; rarely writing by hand.

On-site/Hybrid positions:
The expected pay range for this position is $156,580 to $170,000 per annum.
