POSITION PURPOSE:
The Project Leader, Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics is a key member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery of Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics solutions used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires expertise in areas of business operations, business processes, Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across key business functions. Responsibilities include enterprise architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, solution development, service support, application security, and IT compliance. Support production systems including analyzing and resolving production problems and end-user service requests as appropriate. Provide a high level of customer service across the organization with a primary focus on systems availability, performance, reliability, security, and established service level metrics.



This position will be responsible for analytics solutions and services that deliver data-driven insights. Participate in the development and implementation of a Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics technology strategy leveraging leading technologies to achieve company goals and improve critical business functions. Deploy a Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics technology roadmap; collaborate with business and IT leaders to design and develop information management capabilities and deploy the governance of key business metrics, drive the deployment of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value. Develop standards, tools, and governance for capturing, modeling, storing, and delivering data for the enterprise including identifying data-related business requirements and service standards, developing a high-level enterprise data model and conceptual views of related data sub-architectures (e.g., database, data integration, data warehouse/business intelligence, reporting, metadata, and content management architectures). Data engineering work includes creating data architectures for databases and data warehouses (i.e., designing and specifying the overall database/data warehouse structure based on functional and technical requirements); developing logical and physical data models; developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation; manage data migrations/conversions and troubleshooting data processing issues.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.



Experience
Required:


* 5+ years total experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 3 years in complex technology environments.
* 3+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, business intelligence engineer, or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries.
* 3+ years of experience in SQL, Java or Python development.
* 3+ years of ETL preferably in SSIS.



Desired:


* Work experience in Oracle ERP Cloud.
* Work experience in Oracle BI applications like BICC, OAC, OIC, FAW, OCI, OTBI, BIP, and ADW.
* Hands-on development Design and Develop applications using Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
* Experience architecting and provisioning of FAW in Oracle PaaS.
* Technical experience with BICC Configuration etc. and performing integrations between OIC and ADW


Education
Bachelor of Science in IT or Business



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Development in T-SQL, PL-SQL, SSIS, PowerBI, and Oracle SaaS.
* Understanding EDW and the ETL processes.
* Design system changes and project-level business process enhancements.
* Candidate must work well with others and demonstrate work in a team environment.
* Supervisory Responsibilities: May have between 1 and 2 direct reports.





SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS:


* Hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of three days in the office (Tue, Wed, Thur).
* Occasionally requires work on or around the manufacturing floor and/or sales office.
Hours are varied and may include after-hours or weekend work to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
* Travel Requirements: Travel is typically not required but may be necessary (up to 25%) to any of our manufacturing facilities in the United States and Mexico.
