Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundriesMalta is seeking to fill a Business Operations Engineer planning position to work in a manufacturing engineering organization. The Business Operations team's scope encompasses short-term and long-term Material and Financial planning & forecasting, Cost program management, Cost benchmarking, Capital Expense planning, Efficiency improvements and Spend Analytics.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Successful candidates will have strong sense of ownership, sense of urgency, good business acumen, technical skills, be comfortable leading improvement projects. Be willing to embrace working in a diverse manufacturing environment.
• They will work in a dynamic collaborative environment requiring strong team skills with engineers, managers, technicians, and the site leadership team.
• Improve and continue the development of ChatBot AI program.
• Improve and develop analytics regarding equipment performance and training metrics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Education - Graduating with Bachelors in Business Analytics/Business Administration or related field from an accredited degree program.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
• Travel - Flexibility with minor business travel required.
• Must have high degree of social, intercultural, and analytical competency
• Must have a basic understanding of Semiconductor Operations
• Must be proficient in data analysis and statistical tools in MS Excel or similar analytical tool
• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products - Word, Power point

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
• Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning & organizational skills
