ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute System generated Material Requirements Planning Reports.
  • Edit and process requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Communicate demand to the supply base.
  • Track on time deliveries.
  • Submit Requests for Quotations.
  • Report and tracking daily material cost.
  • Perform cost analysis studies.
  • Reconciling invoice discrepancies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree and/or combination of 5 years of procurement or materials transaction related experience in similar size business. Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Must understand MRP. Experience working with production schedules and Material Plans preferred. Understanding of working capital and ROI concepts preferred. CPM or other APICS certification a plus.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong organization and tracking skills.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • This position requires up to 10% travel.
