About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

This position is responsible for system administration and development of Ivanti Endpoint Management and other enterprise client technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy Management Console and MDM configurations. Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools are preferred for Inventory management.

They are responsible for:

-Implementing automated processes for imaging, and Software deployment to Enterprise clients
- InTune Configuration: Administer and configure Microsoft InTune for policy enforcement, software deployment, and security compliance across devices
-Install, maintain, and upgrade managed campus computer hardware and software
- Software Deployment: Package, deploy, and manage software updates and applications to devices through InTune/Ivanti EPM
-Health monitoring of Enterprise Clients
-Troubleshooting enterprise Client Issues, and enterprise-wide management/resolution

Essential Functions:

  • PC provisioning using automation (Microsoft Autopilot/InTune), configuration and deployment of clients, software and desktop policies, inventory management and monitoring
  • License management, application configuration and deployment, inventory Maintenance (SQL database management and reporting)
  • Client health monitoring, vulnerability patching, asset tracking, reporting and documentation
  • Professional development and training


    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    A minimum of six (6) years of experience is required with a minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting customers with Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems in an enterprise environment utilizing incident management tools.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Candidate must have experience with Microsoft InTune or other mobile device management (MDM) platforms and a strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android). Working experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Entra ID is desired. Candidate with a strong understanding of current and cutting edge technology processes and systems is essential. Experience with scripting (Powershell, Shell, SQL) is strongly preferred.

    Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.

    Position will require night and weekend work as needed for system changes.

    Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
