My client is a Maryland-based General Contractor that has been established for over 60 years. They specialize in both interiors and base-build projects across a number of sectors, including Education, Community and Commercial. Projects will be based all over Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Your new role

Due to an increasing number of upcoming projects, this General Contractor is looking to expand their staff base with at least 2 Superintendents - 1 in base building and the other for interiors projects.
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for the planning, directing, coordinating and overseeing the daily construction activities at a project site and be held accountable for the following competencies:

• Project Schedule & Productivity
• Project quality & safety
• Project budget and profitability
• Site Management
• Subcontractor management
• Client satisfaction
• Personal development
• Corporate & business development

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Minimum 7 years experience in the commercial construction industry in a Superintendent capacity
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Ms Office
• OSHA 30
