About the Role:
As an Underwriter Assistant, you'll provide critical support to our underwriting team by managing accounts, coordinating data, and ensuring smooth policy processes. From analyzing applications to building strong relationships with agents, you'll be an essential part of delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Do:

Organize new and renewal policy setups.
Analyze applications and provide recommendations for approval, modifications, or declinations.
Assist underwriters with renewal preparations and essential documentation.
Collaborate with the underwriting team on quotes, applications, and other key tasks.
Build and maintain effective relationships with agents, offering prompt support for questions and issues.
Ensure accurate data management, including updating policies, calculating premiums, and managing reports.

What You Bring:

2+ years of commercial insurance experience (construction sector experience is a plus!).
Strong knowledge of commercial rating and policy processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a sense of urgency.
A team player with a customer-focused mindset.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
