Our staffing agency has partnered with a reputable organization in Laurel, MD, to hire a Customer Support Specialist. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and supporting clients through various communication channels. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Laurel, MD
Pay: $20-$24/hourly based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and accurate information about products, services, and policies.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints, working to ensure satisfaction and a positive customer experience.
- Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and track shipments, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Document customer interactions, feedback, and solutions in the customer support database, ensuring all records are updated and accessible.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, shipping, and technical support, to provide a seamless experience for customers.
- Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and promotions to provide informed support to customers.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or a customer support role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using customer support software, CRM systems, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Friendly, empathetic, and patient with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
