Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cytotechnologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform specialized and complex testing involving microscopic screening and evaluation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care. You'll collaborate closely with supervisory cytotechnologists and pathologists to provide essential interpretations.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct thorough and accurate microscopic evaluations of cellular samples, applying recognized criteria to make cytological interpretations.
  
• Correlate findings with supervisory cytotechnologists and pathologists.
  
• Maintain precise records of specimen and results data.
  
• Perform fine needle aspirations for biopsy preparation and assess cellular adequacy.
  
• Ensure individual specimen turnaround times align with overall laboratory expectations.
  
• Safely use and maintain cytological equipment according to laboratory procedures.
  
• Employ established laboratory techniques to prepare high-quality slides from cytological samples.
  
• Fulfill other related duties as required or assigned.
