Data Science Solutions Lead

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 740 W Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Data Science Solutions Lead will be responsible for program processes for data setup and enabling advanced analytic capabilities.

How you will make an impact:

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to create ideas for enabling capabilities.
• Perform code reviews.
• Maintain technical development environment and implementation plan.
• Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices.
• Develop and perform unit testing; fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
• Gather requirements to guide approach and solution.
• Provide status & risks to the management team.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements:

Five (5) years of experience must include:

• Five (5) years of experience with object-oriented programming using Java or Python.
• Five (5) years of experience with big data and Hadoop technologies.
• Five (5) years of experience with SQL with traditional data warehouse technologies.
• Five (5) years of experience with relational databases.
• Five (5) years of experience with at least one job scheduler, including OoZie or Airflow.
• Five (5) years of experience developing Microservices-based APIs using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Five (5) years of experience working with real-time architecture solutions using Kafka.
