Our client is seeking a Digital Client Consultant in Tampa, FL.

Role Description

• Educates internal and external parties on case implementation process (new and add) procedures and support on all lines of coverage when appropriate. (Core & Voluntary Products)
• Work with external customers to understand and deliver on implementation requirements, includes overseeing the collection and follow up of sold case essentials for both new business and add coverage
• Works successfully with group employers/brokers to make sure they understand the platform and help teach them ways to best influence their digital experience
• Ensures all responses are delivered in a professional and market ready state with external partners
• Maintains appropriate level of expertise on our product offering, implementation, client services, technology and processes
• Ensure appropriate resolution of client issues by engaging relevant internal stakeholders and delivering recovery plans where appropriate and in a time sensitive manner.
• Conducts bill audits and runs D&U reports, refers to billing specialist for highly complex reconciliation issues.
• Performs any core system and portal updates as necessary
• Collaborates and acts as a liaison with client's Third-Party Administrator to assist with problem resolution and troubleshooting for all functions (IMP, SERVICE, PLANCHANGE)
• Able to independently troubleshoot Excel files and onboarding customer Excel workbooks into our online system
• Obtains complete Amendment/Group Change Request documentation. Reviews request for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and state regulations. Retrieves any missing data from the broker or customer.
• Provides deliverables to internal partners, broker or client such as confirmation letter/email, Certificates, Policy Amendments, etc.
• Updates all applicable systems accurately.
• Educates internal and external parties on Implementation, add products, Plan Changes and/or Amendment submission, procedures and support.
• Oversees workload to ensure handling within the departmental defined cycle times and metrics for quality and production
• Experience leveraging business acumen for long-lasting client relationships and results
• Engage client to drive alignment and consensus on solutions via phone and email interactions

Skills & Requirements

• Typically has a BS/BA degree and 1-2 years of experience
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Well-developed customer service and relationship skills
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, set schedules and priorities to meet both internal and external deadlines
• Proficient problem solving skills
• General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development
• Competencies: Producing results, decision making& critical thinking, service excellence, managing multiple priorities, influencing, relationship management, operational functions and e-business
• Experience in insurance/financial systems
• Experience with digital/online customer service
• Experience with external clients
• Prior work experience with large scale company
