Digital Content Editor

Do you have knack for translating corporate topics into multimedia stories that resonate with multiple audiences? Can you consult on multi-channel campaigns and execute content specific to digital channel specifications and brand guidelines? Are as comfortable writing and editing text as you are with editing photos and videos? If you answered yes, you could be our new Digital Content Editor.

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Content Editor to join our Agile Newsroom " Content Lab". You will be responsible for writing, editing, and producing high-quality text content as well as the supporting multimedia assets, including videos and images. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various multimedia editing software. You thrive in an agile work environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing priorities.

Key duties:

  • Conceptualize and plan global communications campaigns around our key company topics
  • Write and edit high-quality content for the corporate web, social media, podcasts and video
  • Edit and enhance multimedia assets, such as videos and images to ensure they meet brand guidelines and quality standards
  • Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with the company's messaging and branding guidelines
  • Review and edit content submitted by other team members or external contributors to maintain consistency and quality
  • Collaborate with communications experts for internal and external audiences/channels as a part of one of our cross-functional Content Lab teams, as well as stakeholders in our business lines, functions and regions, to ensure content aligns with the company's objectives and values
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience as a digital editor or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous multimedia projects and written content
  • Strong writing and editing skills for web and social
  • Experience with in multimedia editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant tools
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and Social Media Management software
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute ideas effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Some international travel required
The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 8 % of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
