RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a Digital Product Owner.Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including business, design, and technical teams, to elicit and document business requirements for new features, enhancements, and mobile product capabilities
  • Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain a well-defined product backlog, ensuring that all user stories are clear, actionable, and aligned with the overall product strategy
  • User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and functional requirements, complete with clear acceptance criteria for the development team
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and QA to ensure that requirements are feasible, fully understood, and meet both business objectives and technical constraints
  • Commerce-Focused Features: Analyze and define features related to eCommerce functionality, including checkout processes, payment gateways, product catalogs, user accounts, and mobile shopping experiences
  • Agile Development Support: Work within an agile framework, participate in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and ensure that development work aligns with business goals
  • Prioritization: Collaborate with the product manager to prioritize the backlog based on business needs, user feedback, and technical considerations
  • User Experience Focus: Understand and analyze the customer journey to recommend product improvements that enhance the mobile shopping experience
  • Quality Assurance: Work with QA teams to ensure that delivered features meet the defined requirements and user expectations


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Product Management Tools: Proficiency in using agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and user story creation
  • eCommerce Expertise: Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, payment systems, shopping cart functionality, and mobile app usability
  • Mobile Product Knowledge: Experience working on mobile-first or mobile-only products, with a strong understanding of app development processes and mobile UX/UI principles
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and user feedback to inform product decisions and backlog prioritization
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for translating complex business needs into technical requirements
  • Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with a deep understanding of sprint cycles and backlog refinement processes
  • Keen understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines in mobile implementations


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
