A privately owned general contracting company based in Atlanta, Georgia that has executed projects throughout the United States. BCS specializes in the construction of multifamily communities by partnering with the Ownership and Management Companies to drive the new construction, redevelopment and rehab process from due diligence to close out.

Your new role

The Director of Preconstruction is responsible for overseeing and managing the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently. This role involves close collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in project management software, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and regulations.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are a plus.
