Engineer III

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 4361 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, OH 45040

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer III will develop and own a list of final enhancements.

How you will make an impact:

• Develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare technical and functional specifications with which programs will be written.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective monitoring of systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the development team.
• Coordinate with other teams to effectuate the change request process.
• Oversee technical testing to ensure the unit test is completed and meets test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements:

Three (3) years of experience must include:
• Experience in J2EE and Spring framework.
• Experience with DB like Relational DB and/or Mongo DB.
• Experience with looking at the requirements and working on design documents.
• Experience in various design patterns in Java/JDK framework.
• Participate in meetings with development teams to ensure alignment with business specifications.
• Coordinate meetings with the development team, business teams, and Product Owner to evaluate project progress and ensure alignment with business specifications.
