WELDER IN PFLUGERVILLE, TX

Volt is immediately hiring for a Welder in Pflugerville, TX.

As a Welder, you will be:

• Following all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication.
• Following proper procedures for setting up and maintenance of machines in the Fab Shop.
• Accurately measure, random pipe length with tape measure.
• Following proper procedures for measuring and cutting pipe with band saw and/or torch.
• Following proper procedures for threading and beveling of pipe with Landis machines.
• Moving loose and /or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yard.
• Assembling pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and maintaining work supplies in an organized manner.
• Observing necessary safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.
• Inspecting and maintaining all forklift equipment in functional condition.

This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.

Duration: 3 Months

The ideal candidate will have:

• Welding experience is strongly preferred.
• General computer skills.
• Operation of machinery for the use of cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations and Client Safety Policies.

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
