Major/Essential Functions
- Verifies invoices with regard to contract type, charges, does mathematical calculations, prepares voucher/cover letter, processes for payment by Projects, Grants, and Accounting, and verifies payment coding.
- Manages all components of state, federal, local, and sponsored funding within the institute by following regulations and guidelines for grants and contracts.
- Maintains payroll listing by preparing annual electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs) for salary changes.
- Serves as liaison between management of FMHIRCH and TTUHSC Accounting, Purchasing, Sponsored Programs, Accounts Payable, Travel, Purchasing Card, other departments, as well as external partners and contractors.
- Serve as fund manager for assigned set of funds. Responsible for the daily management, spend down, financial reporting, and closeout of these contracts, grants and funds.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Excel.

- Previous experience with Texas Tech University systems such as ChromeRiver, TechBuy, and Cognos.
- Previous experience with financial grant management.
- Previous experience with governmental cost controls.
- Previous experience with invoice reconciliation.
- Previous experience with project budget creation.
