In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:The Financial Operations Analyst functions within an academic and clinical medicine environment, providing a comprehensive range of fiscal services to the Radiology Department under the direction of the Finance Manager. This role focuses on research funding, earnings operations, and development funds, while ensuring strict compliance with fiscal policies and internal controls.
Key responsibilities include managing financial operations, such as maintaining purchasing records, overseeing daily financial transactions, managing general ledger entries, and handling accounts payable and receivable in Workday. The Financial Operations Analyst also oversees billing for department earnings operations, monitors development funds to ensure timely and effective use, and ensures the appropriate retention of fiscal records. Additionally, this role plays a critical part in grant management by aligning personnel and effort allocations with grant budgets, monitoring expenditures, and coordinating grant applications and external contracts.
In addition to these duties, the Financial Operations Analyst supports the Finance Manager in developing annual budgets and strategic financial plans, while advising faculty and staff on financial policies, procurement, and compliance. The role also involves assisting with audits and contributing to the department's strategic planning efforts.
