Beacon Hill Financial just teamed up with a great organization looking for a GL Accountant to join their growing team. This position will be working heavily within the general ledger and handling the organizations reconciliations. Job description:

• The GL Accountant will oversee and manage the general ledger accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• The role involves recording, reconciling, and reporting financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain monthly reconciliations for all GL accounts, excluding revenue-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process, producing timely and accurate financial reports
• Sales and Use Tax Management: Oversee sales (use) tax filings, and ensure alignment with billing and receipts in NetSuite
• Payroll Journal Entries: Manage semi-monthly payroll journal postings and reconcile payroll accounts
