Description: Judge Healthcare is seeking Hematology/Oncology RN's for a position in Durham, NC with one of our biggest clients! New graduates are accepted!
Contract Duration: October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. No weekends or holidays!
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage side effects and complications of treatment.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Assist in the development of individualized care plans.
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Administer blood transfusions and other treatments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in NC
- Associates degree or higher in nursing
