Information Security Project Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated Information Security Project Manager to join their team. This role is integral to the organization, overseeing and managing projects related to information security. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, ensuring that security measures are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timing
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security specialists, and business stakeholders, to achieve project objectives
- Identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant security standards and regulations
- Track project progress, manage changes, and report on project status to senior management and stakeholders
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security and project management
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of information security principles
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and leadership abilities

Desired Experience:
- Experience managing enterprise-scale projects
- State RAMP Assessment or Continuous Monitoring
- Experience briefing and presenting to senior leadership
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in information security
