Institutional Work Study Student - Housing Desk Assistant

The Residence Hall is seeking (1) Institutional Work Study student at 10 hours each per week for the Spring 2025 term. Duties include:

• Maintain the visitation log
• Hand out paper for the computer lab
• Assist with managing the front desk
• Help keep an eye on the lobby area and contact the hall manager or resident assistant when necessary

• General office and phone etiquette
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
