Intermediate Assembler

Tallahassee, FL

Contract Position

$22.51 / Hour

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform harness, electrical, and mechanical assembly, including routing wires, crimping contacts, soldering, tightening hardware, and testing electronic units.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and direct reading test devices safely, adhering to OSHA and ISO standards.
• Follow computerized work instructions and read assembly drawings to ensure accurate work.
• Inspect and verify work aligns with technical requirements.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain IPC certification in soldering.
• Capable of lifting 20+ lbs. without assistance.
• Proficient in using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and follow instructions.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applicable software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong initiative; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends, as needed, and the flexibility to work 2nd shift when required.
