What You Will Contribute:


Badger Meter is looking for an Inventory Coordinator in our clean, air-conditioned Racine facility.

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, driving inventory process improvements, and delivering inventory to the appropriate areas based on requirements for items that are being used in manufacturing facilities. This position supports operations for cycle counts and conduct investigation for any discrepancies.

Job Duties:

  • Conducts daily cycle counts and prepare reports, analyzed results and put in place corrective actions for identified discrepancies.
  • Runs negative reports and work on root causes establishing action plans and for inventory recurrent errors. Track and implement physical inventory location changes, maintain warehouse location bin organization.

  • Review output of planning system, coordinates the supplies raw material and material transfers (MRP system) and FIFO procedures.
  • Reinforce good inventory techniques and procedures with users.
  • Back-up up other department functions, including customer order promising.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Degree/GED preferred
  • 0-1+ years of experience in Inventory Control, Administration or a related field desired

Qualifications:
  • Basic experience with ERP LX preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred

Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing/Office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Depending on the assigned department, must complete an audiogram test
