Position Title: IT Business Analyst V

Location: Pennington, NJ

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12Months

Job Type: CONTRACT, Hybrid

Pay Range: $50 to $56.18/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:
The agile analyst will work with IT and the Business to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills. Serves as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle.
Using proven methods and tools, this position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups. This position may also be called upon to fulfil some Scrum Master responsibilities of facilitating scrum ceremonies based on changing demands.

Required (hard) skills/experience
* Agile tools/ Jira
* Must have excellent analytical skills and at least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Business analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution
* Experience in Agile methodology
* Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Ability to communicate and work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied
* Ability to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements
* Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities
