GeneralSummary….

The Lead works in partnership with OperationsSupervisors and is proficient in multiple areas. This position monitors theprogress of assigned workload activities, assists with monitoring productivitystatus and reports, and directs process flow assignments. This position isresponsible for product safety, quality and legality.

This position will beresponsible for…..

  • Coordinates andmonitors daily workload activities which include productivity tracking. Thisincludes review, assignment and completion of daily workloads, maintainsinventory accuracy by units, locations and ensures order quality and accuracy.
  • Evaluates workloads andteam resources and is proficient at communicating changing requirements toManagement for workflow and assignment adjustments.
  • Monitors the operationof all equipment, safety, security and housekeeping of the area and ensurescompany policies are followed.
  • Responsible for theinitial training of production floor personnel in accordance with Companyguidelines.
  • Fosters continuousimprovement on the floor.
  • Utilizes/assignspersonnel where needed to ensure maximum efficiency and attainment ofestablished production standards.
  • Reviews linereconciliation paperwork for accuracy.
  • Conducts and monitorsemployee training.
  • Assists with monitoringproductivity status and reports.
  • Perform other duties asassigned.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma orGED required and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Excelto include spreadsheets and formulas and outlook email is required.
  • Experience withapplications such as warehouse management systems is required.
  • Lean manufacturing and5S experience helpful.
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.
  • Customer servicedriven.
  • Strong team player.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
