We are recruiting for a Litigation Secretary on behalf of a sophisticated, multidisciplinary law firm's San Diego office, known for its quality and extraordinary commitment to clients.

The Litigation Secretary will support a busy litigation team specializing in white-collar, general civil, and big law cases. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, extensive e-filing experience, and the ability to handle both state and federal court filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Support: Manage correspondence, pleadings, and court filings. Edit, proofread, and file legal documents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and conferences. Organize and maintain client records and files.
  • Reception Duties: Greet visitors, assist with hospitality, and oversee meeting setups.
  • Document Management: Prepare and organize documents for court filings, manage attorney calendars, and handle expense reimbursements.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and billing partners. Provide backup support to other secretaries as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Litigation Secretary.
  • Proficient in federal and state court filing rules.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, iManage, and other legal software.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, with strong confidentiality and diplomacy skills.
