Maintenance Technician

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production facility. This includes troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics; experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently; strong attention to detail.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors; ability to follow instructions.

• Safety Skills: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures; ability to identify potential safety hazards.

• Relevant Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with PLCs; experience with welding and fabrication.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment and machinery.

• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
