Marketing Coordinator I

What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions, Inc. seeks a Marketing Coordinator I to support corporate business development and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer, center directors, project managers, sub-consultants, and support staff, this role will organize, research, write, produce, and assist in proposal creation. The position will reside in our Nashville, Knoxville, or Atlanta offices.

Responsibilities

• Works with other writers/coordinators to draft, assemble, and produce proposals.
• Assists in the creation of presentations, reports, statements of qualification, resumes.
• Creates and assists with project descriptions and related marketing materials of a basic routine, nature.
• Support projects and proposal efforts for other writers/coordinators.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or English.
• 1 - 3 years of related proposal experience.
• Strong command of grammar and spelling.
• Proficient in Adobe Create Suite & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Service-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, can work well independently or in a team environment.
• High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues.
