MATERIAL HANDLER - 2nd Shift
This position is responsible for assessing, acquiring, and transporting materials (raw, finished goods and scrap) from receiving areas, to stores, to final point of use using a variety of equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Safely transport material throughout facility to required destination in a timely manner.
- Pulls and prepares returnable dunnage or corrugated dunnage for production use.
- Completes daily inspection check sheet and any light maintenance required for equipment.
- Works weekends and overtime as required.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance, in accordance with scheduled work hours, and overtime(OT) as assigned.
- Meets all physical and environmental requirements
REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Certifications/Licenses: Must possess a Gibbs issued powered industrial equipment license or be willing to obtain a Gibbs issued powered industrial equipment license.
Experience: 6 months powered industrial equipment (fork truck).
