Overview
SUMMARY
This position requires handling of furniture moves and auditorium setups. They assist around the warehouse and trucks as needed.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loads and unloads furniture related materials onto and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding and ropes are used to prevent damage
- Locates and relocates desks, chairs, tables, bookcases, and other related office equipment and furniture
- Arranges and sets up furniture and related items for special events as instructed
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONRequired (Minimum) Qualifications - Must be able to follow basic safety procedures
- Must be able to follow verbal directions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to follow routine verbal and written directions
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
Preferred - Minimal experience in relocation services

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and may require use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
