Description:

• Title: Mechanical Engineer V
• Location: Mountain View CA
• Duration: 06+ Months contract

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of practical hands-on experience in electromechanical products manufacturing environments.
• Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Practical hands-on knowledge of Metrology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in mechanical drawing comprehension, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and Google Workspace apps (including Docs, Sheets, and Slides).

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (including Process Capability Index Cpk).
• Experience with automated inspection systems and equipment, such as CMM (Coordinate-Measuring Machine) and LIBS (laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy).
