RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a mid level Project Manager/Scrum Master. This position plans, executes, and finalizes projects, according to schedule and within budget. Candidates in this role acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members including third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager/Scrum Master will define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle. Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Responsible for managing multiple and complex projects
- Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program initiatives, epics and business value metrics following Agile methodology
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and willingness to take ownership
- Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles and practices
- Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks
- Ensures adherence to -/+ 5% say/do ratio to budget
- Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution
- Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
- Maintain thorough knowledge of new development and/or SDLC techniques
- Owns the planning, estimation, design, configuration, testing, and production release on financial projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas
- Interacts with business leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort/cost, prioritize work, develop enhancements, coordinate testing, and perform change management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably certified PMP or Agile Safe Scrum Master certified
- Ability to coach and mentor teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement
- Deep experience with the Agile development methodology and tools such as Atlassian Jira software is a must have
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
