Operational Excellence Coordinator Position Summary:
The Operational Excellence Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and promoting a culture where improvements in operational effectiveness are applied through the application of lean principles, improving quality, reducing manufacturing costs and increasing profitability.

Operational Excellence Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Organize, facilitate, and measure results on key improvement efforts or projects
- Track, report and evaluate progress against key operational metrics and project goals
- Support and help develop a lean culture throughout the organization
- Participate in on-boarding and training of newly hired employees
- Develop and train employees to improve their OE and manufacturing capabilities
- Be the subject matter expert in: Operational Excellence and LEAN programs
- Encourage and/or lead Kaizen events
- Monitor the application of employee Operational Excellence programs
- Partner with the other business segments: Operations, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Finance
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets served
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements

QualificationsOperational Excellence Coordinator Position Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience
- Hands on experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (i.e.5S, Kaizen)
- Strong understanding of lean philosophy
- Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks when needed
- Ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable
Operational Excellence Coordinator Preferred Requirements: - Industrial Engineering degree
- Previous laser machining, engineering, or operations experience
- Supervisory experience
- Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations
Physical & Environmental Demands:Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
