The Music Department of Colby College invites applications for an Applied Music Instructor in cello (one year, part-time, renewable, no benefits) beginning fall semester 2024.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience in playing and teaching cello. Principal duties will include teaching applied cello lessons and performing as Principal Cello with the Colby Symphony Orchestra. Attendance is required at weekly orchestra rehearsals. The person occupying the position will also be expected to be actively involved in the music department efforts to attract qualified student musicians to the College.
