About the Role:
We are seeking a savvy, motivated, and proactive Temporary Advocacy & Education Social Media Specialist to support our U.S. Education, Advocacy, and Operations division. This junior-level role is ideal for someone with strong social media skills and a knack for creating innovative, visually appealing content tailored to digital platforms.

Reporting to a California-based manager, this role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to collaborate closely with the U.S. Communications team to drive impactful social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop visually engaging and innovative social media content using Canva, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic priorities.
• Analyze competitor activity and social media trends to inspire creative assets and strategies for the brand.
• Work closely with the Education, Advocacy, and Operations team to highlight key initiatives and campaigns.
• Adapt content to suit various platforms and audience needs, ensuring maximum engagement.
• Monitor and report on social media performance, offering recommendations for growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Junior-level experience in social media content creation, with an emphasis on graphic design.
• Proficiency in Canva and a strong eye for design.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to research competitors and interpret data for content innovation.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Additional Details:

• This is a part-time role, offering approximately 20 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible and can accommodate other responsibilities.
• The position is fully remote.
• While the role is currently slated for six months, there is potential for extension, depending on workload and performance, though this cannot be guaranteed.
